The Emtek® Spoke Knob takes the concept of traditional door hardware and deconstructs it, stripping away excess material to leave a single spoke that bridges the body of the knob with its base. Elegant in its minimalism, it is part of the Emtek® brand’s Studio Brass product category that introduces boutique designs, artistically drawing inspiration from a myriad of sources.
Minimal, sophisticated and visually memorable, the Emtek® Spoke Knob hollow ring design is interrupted by a singular rung that attaches it to the central rod and provides an understated but slightly unexpected detail. It is intended for modern interiors with its pared-back look, adding a refined touch to more rustic and traditional layouts as well.
This is the inaugural design of the Studio Brass line by Will Zhang and commemorates a decade of Industrial Design at Emtek® by re-invisioning what the modern door knob can be.
